Sunday School for all children and youth begins Sunday, September 17th at Trinity. Registration forms will be available at the Sunday School table at the Richmond Street door, both before and after worship.
Children and youth of all ages are invited to gather in the sanctuary for worship at 10:30 a.m. Following a Time with the Children, all ages will depart for graded Sunday School classes. We have wonderful Godly Play Story-Tellers and Seasons of the Spirit teachers eager to guide our children and youth through an exciting year of learning and fun! All are welcome here! See you soon!
The Trustees of the Henry Clarke Scholarship Trust are pleased to announce that they will award two Bursaries this year in the amount of $2000 each. One each, to two eligible, most qualified, students entering post-secondary studies (College or University) in the 2017-2018 academic year. Please see more information on the bulletin board outside the church office.
Looking for your next great read? The Social Justice Book Club will meet on Wed., Sept. 27 at 7 pm to discuss Heather O’Neil’s award winning novel “Lullabies for Little Criminals”. This moving coming-of-age novel of young life on the streets is sure to spark an interesting discussion. Hope you will join us!
Sunday School Registration will occur on Sept. 10 and 17 and classes will start on Sept. 17. On Sept. 10, Ellen will share a Godly Play story in the Upper Hall. After service on Sept. 17, we will celebrate the start of a new Sunday School year with a BBQ on the church lawn. All are welcome.
Please remember to support the food bank with non-perishable food items. You can drop them off any Sunday or during the week at the office. Most needed items are school supplies, snacks for school lunches like cereal bars and fruit and pudding cups, pasta, Sidekicks, flakes of ham, chicken and turkey and canned tuna.
